The making of the purlins and rafters must suit the structure of the cabin and should be able to provide protection and safe shelter under whatever climatic conditions and changes. The roofs are made of metal sheets and there are different kinds of them as well. There are EPS panel sheets, galvalume sheets and others. It is only a plus if the corrugated roofing sheet also matches the aesthetics of the cabin.

As discussed previously, modular homes or pre engineered buildings (PEB) are the kind of buildings which are constructed at a factory or warehouse and assembled at desired site. Usually, PEB structure design is made of steel. These sections are fabricated at the factory to accurate size and transported to the site to be assembled with bolted connections. The adaptability of PEB has resulted in many advantages, including economy & easier fabrication.
